Domaine skiable Galibier Thabor (1800 m - 2750 m) 160 km de pistes : 89 pistes (8 noires, 33 rouges, 31 bleues, 17 vertes) 29 remontées mécaniques dont 2 télécabines, 17 télésièges et 10 téléskis Grâce à plus de 400 canons à neige et à un entretien quotidien des pistes, l’Espace Galibier Thabor est passé maître dans l’art de bichonner sa neige (70% du domaine au-dessus de 2000 m) Pour les free riders, Valmeinier offre aussi un secteur hors-piste de qualité, sur les massifs du Gros Crey et du Crey du Quart. Stade de slalom, zones ludiques (easyparks, zone chrono, Arva park) et snowpark avec halfpipe, boardercross, bosses et slides. L’ESF dispose d’un Tandemski et uniski et 3 moniteurs sont formés à l’enseignement des handicapés moteurs. Pour pratiquer le ski nordique, vous devrez rejoindre Valloire, l'autre station reliée au domaine via une navette. Plusieurs boucles de différents niveaux sur 10 km vous permettront de découvrir les abords des cols du Télégraphe ou du Galibier. L'une des principales attractions de la station est son snowpark XL réputé parmi les meilleurs d'Europe. Un paradis pour les freestylers avec un half pipe, un ski cross, un slope style expert et un park medium. Un easy park, pour les débutants, est également disponible
